We’re looking for well-researched, original articles, explainers, or data stories on topics related to public finance, municipal budgets, and urban governance. Selected contributions will be featured on our website and shared on social media.
This is open to professionals and students, both.
What we’re looking for
- Topics that make public finance data and trends more accessible and engaging.
- Articles between 800–1,200 words with clear, data-backed writing style.
- Original work not published elsewhere.

Data Stories
Short, analytical articles with a key insight or perspective supported by data and charts. Word limit: 1,200 words
Explainers
Articles that break down public finance concepts in clear, easy-to-understand language. Word limit: 2,000 words
